Linda Cloer, the Director of Women’s Ministries for First Baptist
Church of Atlanta, graciously invited me to join her and Keynote
Speaker, Dr. Sandy Breazeale at a recent women’s retreat. I was so
honored to have the opportunity to lead Praise and Worship beside
these gifted, Godly women for “This Moment In Time” which was a
very appropriate theme.
We shared many defining moments as we listened to Dr. Breazeale
speak about how Solomon, after having it all, said in the end, that
it was all “meaningless”. A life of fame and fortune during “This
Moment in Time” means nothing if you do not have “Christ for
Eternity.” Wow! It was very eye opening and motivating. I walked
away inspired and better equipped for serving God than ever
before.
After the retreat, my husband, Terry, and I attended the Sunday
morning worship service at FBA. I was so excited to have the
opportunity to meet Dr. Charles Stanley for the first time. As I
shook Dr. Stanley’s hand and said to him, “I have anticipated and
looked forward to this day for over 20 years, since I got saved” he
said, “Well, what took you so long?” He was awesome. I remember
watching him on TV when I first became a Christian, to learn all
that I could about the Bible. I believe that he is one of the
greatest teachers and preachers I have ever heard. I still watch
every chance I get. I was a little nervous having just sat through
a live service. My husband and I were checking out the high tech
set. The sanctuary was much bigger than I thought. It was such a
thrill, and Dr. Stanley was so sincere and kind. It was definitely
a defining moment for me.

Our Senior Minister, Jamie Broome, began serving Immanuel in 1993, after 10 years at First Baptist, Midway, Kentucky. He
received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Carson Newman University,
where he met his wife, Rita, and his Master of Divinity from the
Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, where he also
did a Th.M. and doctoral work in church history. He is a native of
South Carolina, and the Broomes have two sons, Chip and Rusty.
Renee:
I cannot find the words to express my gratitude for the integrity
of the message you offered to the believers of Immanuel Baptist
Church through your music and your words. Our folks are still
talking about your message and pondering what implications it has
for us as we seek to love like Jesus and follow Him wherever He
leads us. God was wonderfully gracious in orchestrating your visit
at this juncture on our journey of faith.
When our sanctuary is restored, we will definitely have you back
for a concert. Our special guests will be the folks in the homeless
shelters in the Paducah area, the folks going through drug rehab,
the souls being cared for at the rape crisis center, the women and
children at the abuse center, and countless others who are
suffering and dying to experience the grace and love of the Jesus
we love, worship and serve at Immanuel.
Let’s stay in touch.
Peace and blessings, Jamie

I highly recommend Renée…

It’s been my privilege to be in full-time music evangelism for over
twenty-five years, and I’ve heard hundreds of great singers. Renée
is not only a great singer, but also has a testimony which
encourages others to stay in the race. She reminds them from her
own experience that they will never get to the end of God’s grace.
In the years I’ve known Renée, her honesty and her heart for God
has been a blessing to my own life. I highly recommend Renée and
her ministry.

Blessed, inspired, thrilled, and ministered to, all happened to me
last evening at your concert. . .
Renée, when you walked down the aisle with your Bible in hand—I
thought hmmm this is different. When you used it to introduce your
songs, I thought that was strength beyond measure. So many artists
are indeed inspired and motivated by God to write great words, but
never acknowledge the source of those words. Thank you many times
over for anchoring your songs in the Word that this world so
desperately needs to hear.

Her warm heart and vibrant spirit will
both encourage and challenge your people.
As a pastor, I like to plan special moments for our people to meet
new artists and speakers. . . so they might see a new face, hear a
different voice, and have a fresh experience in their journey with
the Lord. You can be assured that Renée’s walk is authentic and
sound. . . she will be sensitive and appropriate in her vocal
selections. . . and her motivation is not wealth or fame. She
walked away from such a future in country music, and surrendered
her life and talent completely to serve her Lord and His people.
She will operate with total humility and integrity when it comes to
her ministry needs.
I am confident that you will be abundantly blessed by her wonderful
talent and marvelous testimony. Her warm heart and vibrant spirit
will both encourage and challenge your people. I have known Renée
since she came to know Christ and have been her pastor most of
those years. She possesses a heart in pursuit of God’s heart.
Should you decide to bring Renee in to sing and share her story,
your church will be the benefactor. . . and you will be
blessed!

What a privilege and a blessing it was for you
to sing at Mountain Chapel. Members of all ages talked about your
singing and your testimony. The song you performed with our
children was fantastic. Their parents were thrilled.
Sunday was a great day at Mountain Chapel. God used you and touched
many people through your songs, your words and your sweet
spirit.
I hope we can have you sing again at our church.

It was indeed a pleasure having you share your talent and ministry with our congregation last Sunday evening. People are still talking about your fantastic voice and testimony. Our young people really appreciated your communication to them and were blessed by your example.
CD Reviews
Review by Crystal Clear Whitedove Radio

Immediately Renee’s CD was played when we received it and reviewed
it for our playlist. Renee captured my attention and held it
throughout her entire CD. Her voice and presence, without question,
sparked within me knowledge that her compassion and dedication
toward souls and to our Heavenly Father was unmistakable. I was
captivated by her music immediately. My thoughts were, as I
listened, there is so much to her and the longer I listened the
more obvious it became. Renee is a very special person and her
music is without a doubt coming from deep within her. She is
anointed.
Then an amazing confirmation occurred that made all my feelings
come to life. I was watching TBN while working and heard her name
mentioned. I stopped and yes it was most certainly Renee. I sat
quietly watching her perform. Everything I was watching, I had
sensed and felt as I listened to her on CD. It was all coming to
life and I could see what I knew in her face. She shined with what
I had heard. She is exactly what her music reflects and it
shows.
She has a sparkle and sincerity deep within her spirit that just
leaps out and captivates you. Renee is everything she sings. Her
dedication was truly so evident, it was humbling to know, I had the
opportunity to have heard it personally before ever having seen it
on her face. This confirmation makes Renee more personal to me.
Renee’s entire spirit glows in her live performance. She is
dedicated to the marrow of her bones to the Lord Jesus Christ and
is working for His glory. He is using her talent to reach
souls.
As I began to read about Renee I could see what was happening.
Renee had literally been behind the scenes for many years with
professional artists singing background music. She has been on
every major TV Network and overseas as well. Renee stepped out, in
faith, to the forefront. No longer in the background, being set in
the light, where I believe God intended her to be. You can feel a
gentle spring of love flowing from Renee in her talent as a singer
and songwriter. Her dedication to people and allowing the Lord to
use her in a more intense and personal way is where her heart
is.
She loves Him and she wants people to know just how much He loves
them. Renee has a humble spirit. It gleams from every movement,
every note and every verse. She is genuine through and through as I
sat watching and listening. We are so proud to have her as a part
of our family on Whitedove Radio.
God has His timing and Renee stepping out will bless your heart.
Her talent transcends blessings to audience’s love of Christian
Music whether it is country, contemporary or praise music. She has
enough power in her God given talent to lift you up from the deep
depths of life’s struggles and rise above them with faith and hope.
Renee’s commitment to our Lord and her musical talent is all
wrapped up in her very presence on CD and live performance.
Renee you are beautiful person inside and out through and through.
You are a tremendous asset and blessing to everyone you come in
contact with. I know we are proud you are a part of us at Whitedove
Radio.
I encourage everyone to purchase Renee’s CD “Shades Of Gray.” Don’t
miss her live should she ever be close to your area. She is
real!
